My name is Emily Stephens Naphtal, and I founded Stephens Naphtal Law PLLC in 2017 to offer legal employment counsel and representation. I currently serve clients in Massachusetts and New York.
I focus on employment law because I care deeply about equal opportunity in the workplace and problem-solving. I represent employees who have been discriminated against due to their protected characteristics, harassed, retaliated against, or just want help reviewing and negotiating employment contracts. I also counsel companies aiming to nurture diverse workforces and fulfill their legal duties.
My diverse professional background gives me an edge in helping my clients tell their stories and fight for their legal rights. Before starting Stephens Naphtal Law PLLC, I honed my ability to effectively tell others’ stories as a history major at Harvard College, studied employment law and related areas at NYU School of Law, and advocated for employees with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, ACLU Women’s Rights Project, and a private law firm.
